How can we guide cities to navigate towards resilient and sustainable food-sharing ecosystems? CULTIVATE: Co-Designing Food Sharing Innovation for Resilience is a Horizon Europe project that identifies key drivers and implementation gaps, and challenges existing theories and practices which currently constrain food sharing.
The policy dialogues take place in three European cities — Milan, Barcelona, and Utrecht. The Milan edition is pivoting around the correlation between Food Waste Reduction (MUFPP #37), Public-Private Partnerships and Sustainability.
By bringing together multi-level policymakers, policy analysts, scholars, and businesses, the Dialogues aim to reshape policy architectures and market conditions for urban and peri-urban food sharing initiatives across Europe.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn from selected practices, contribute to addressing their challenges, and co-draft recommendations at the EU level.
