This session invites signatory cities from the Asia Pacific region, Steering Committee members and representatives from ASEAN and UNPAR to participate, offering a valuable opportunity to share experiences and insights. Participants will have a clearer understanding of the progress and gaps in implementing the current leadership plan.
The session has the aim of providing an in-depth update of key activities and achievements carried out in the Asia Pacific region over the last 3 years.
It will bring together signatory cities along with pivotal partners that over the last years have significantly supported different initiatives in the area.
It will also serve as an occasion to understand priorities and interests for the upcoming years.
The session's objectives are to:
- Discuss the advancements of the leadership plan: provide an update of the Plan developed at the beginning of the mandate, highlighting key achievements for the region, brainstorm new ideas;
- Knowledge exchange among cities: Share major knowledge exchange opportunities for cities (e.g. ASEAN project + new project);
- Plan Next Steps: Officially announce the national dialogue and the next Regional Forum in Semarang.
