A dialogue on city pathways inspired by the 2025 EAT–Lancet Commission.

Co-hosted by EAT, C40, and MUFPP, this session brings together city leaders and partners to explore concrete actions and pathways toward healthy, just, and sustainable food systems.

Building on the science of the 2025 EAT–Lancet Commission and the City Action Brief co-developed by 35 cities, participants will share experiences and identify collaborative opportunities for joint action and food system transformation, in line with Planetary Health Diets.

During our side event we aim to:

1) Connect global science to local action, by introducing city leaders and partners to the 2025 EAT-Lancet Commission and the Cities Action Brief.

2) Explore how science can inform urban policies for healthy, sustainable, and just food systems.

3) Catalyze collaboration across scales and sectors by exploring pathways for cities, networks, and communities to jointly accelerate food system transformation.

After the session, participants will gather to enjoy a cocktail together in the unique setting of the municipal market.
