The field visit Food Policy Tour gives the opportunity to explore key sites within the Parco Agricolo Sud Milano, Milan’s agricultural belt. Together with municipal representatives, participants will be taken to:
- Cascina Campazzo, an urban dairy farm producing milk and yogurt
- Depuratore Nosedo, a wastewater treatment plant
- Experimental projects in the Vettabbia Urban Agricultural Park
- Chiaravalle Abbey and windmill, a historic village within Milan’s boundaries. Protected from urbanisation by the agricultural park’s regulations, Chiaravalle preserves its original character and rich cultural heritage.
The tour ends at Abbazia di Chiaravalle where lunch will be served.
Transfer
The transfer is organised by the MUFPP by private bus. Please make sure to be at the pick-up point at the time indicated below.
